Terms of Use
These terms describe the ground rules for using Loco to prepare and publish your own media.
1. The service
Loco is an independent iPhone application for combining a user-provided beat and visual, rendering a video locally, and optionally interacting with the user’s own YouTube channel through the official YouTube Data API.
2. Your content and responsibility
You retain ownership of the audio, artwork, video, metadata, and other material you provide. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions, for reviewing your metadata, and for complying with YouTube’s Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and copyright rules before uploading.
3. YouTube connection
You choose when to connect Google and when to upload. Loco acts only on the channel and resources made available by your authorization. YouTube’s own terms, policies, availability, processing decisions, and privacy controls apply to the destination service. Loco cannot guarantee processing time, reach, monetization, or continued availability of a YouTube feature.
4. Public visibility
During development, an unaudited API project may restrict API-created videos to Private. Loco does not bypass that restriction. If you make a video Public in YouTube Studio, you do so under your own channel controls. Future Loco releases may expose Public or Unlisted choices after the relevant audit and policy approval.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Loco to upload material you do not have the right to publish, to evade platform enforcement, to impersonate another person, to distribute malware, or to interfere with YouTube or Google services.
6. Availability and changes
Loco is provided as an evolving independent project. Features may change, and external services may be unavailable. We will not intentionally remove a locally retained project without the user’s delete action, but you should keep independent backups of irreplaceable media.
7. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Loco is provided without a promise that every device, codec, network, YouTube account, or external API response will work in every circumstance. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
8. Contact
Questions, notices, or support requests can be sent to itsvossibaby@gmail.com. Public product questions may also be sent through the Loco GitHub issue tracker. Do not include confidential credentials in a public issue.
9. Related terms
Use of YouTube through Loco is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and YouTube API Services Developer Policies.
